The preschool is divided into Pre-Kindergarten (PK), Junior Kindergarten (JK) and Senior Kindergarten (SK). The children in PK are 3 years old, the children in JK are 4 years old, and the children in SK are 5 years old. Preschool years at St. Stephen’s provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, aesthetic, intellectual and language development of each child. The preschool promotes the uniqueness of each child with an individual pattern and timing of growth, as well as individual personality, temperament, learning style and experiential and family background. The preschool years are years of growth and development with emphasis on school readiness.
