Jump Rope for Heart |

Students in Physical Education are preparing for our
Jump Rope for Heart Event on January 31st,
2008. Jump Rope for Heart is a fun event that helps
children understands the importance of community service
and physical activity while helping to save lives.
Children in all grades are refining their jump rope
skills! Students in SK through 6th grade are refining
their Short rope tricks, long ropes challenges, and
Double Dutch routines to music in preparation for the
big day. During Jump Rope for Heart Each grade will have
the opportunity to compete in an obstacle course
challenge, various jumping stations; pogo sticks, jump
the swamp, hula hoops, and Hippity hops! Students in PK
and JK are included in this event with age appropriate
movement challenges like hopping, leaping and jumping
over stationary objects.
