Grade 2: Helen Keller: Courage in the Dark

Grade 2 Enrichment Group Reads "The Chalkbox Kid"

The second grade reading enrichment class is now reading the book Helen Keller: Courage in the Dark, by Johanna Hurwitz. The class wore blinders to experience how one feels when he/she is blind. As a final activity the students shared their findings with their peers through the modalities of written and oral expression!
