Grade 6, working in collaboration with Ms. Robbin in Sacred Studies, and Ms. Fitzpatrick in Computers, created the Bible Times, which was published just before Spring Break.  In Sacred Studies, the students brainstormed story ideas based on the New Testament, particularly featuring the story of the Resurrection of Jesus.  Taking the roles of New Testament reporters, Gospel advice-givers, Hebrew meteorologists, and Middle Eastern fashion editors, the students wrote their “copy’ which was then given to Ms. Robbin and Ms. Fitzpatrick, Bible Times editors, for review.  Even the ever-popular Word Search and Sudoku make an appearance in this paper!

After the editing process, the students worked in the Biblical Computer Lab with Ms. Fitzpatrick to create their newspaper pages in Microsoft Publisher.  Before final publication, the pages were edited one more time, and then released to the public in hard copy form on March 26.
