Treasure Hunting

All fourth grade students have made a treasure box which they decorated the first week of school.  This treasure box is to remind them that they are treasured dearly by God and loved unconditionally for who they are.  Our goal as fourth graders this year is to find the treasure in our classmates.  We are also on the look out for good deeds, respectful actions, and thoughtful responses.  Gems are awarded for observed acts of kindness.  When the class treasure box is filled with gems, we will have a class party to celebrate our ability to focus on others and find the "real" treasure in the world around us.
