Silvia Larrauri
Head of School

Silvia has over 20 years experience in education, receiving her AA from Miami-Dade Community College and her BS in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University.  Her education experience began with teaching preschool and serving as a grade level coordinator.  She then went on to serve as Assistant to the Principal, Primary School Principal and Director of Admission at Gulliver Academy. Silvia also earned an Excellence in Education Award. 

Silvia joined St. Stephen's Episcopal Day School in 1999 as Assistant Head and Director of Admission.  She continued as Assistant Head until 2004, when she was named Interim Head, and she assumed the position of Head of School in July 2005.

Silvia is a member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Florida Kindergarten Council, the Dade Association of Academic Non-Public Schools, and the National Association of Episcopal Schools.

Silvia is married to George and they have two sons.
